Dan Lowe, CCIM
Senior Managing Partner
As founder and managing partner at RED Legacy, Dan Lowe continues his entrepreneurial passion for innovative projects. These projects include all aspects of the development process including leasing, marketing, entitlements, financing, and construction. Projects overseen by Dan are designed with each community’s needs in mind.
Dan directs the company’s focus, and executes day to day with a heavy emphasis on relationships: relationships with tenants, financial partners, and municipalities. This relationship-oriented approach has been the key to his success. Dan’s inspired concepts define distinctive retail centers across the country, and many have changed the way markets trade and shoppers function. A few of these projects include the Legends Outlets in Kansas City and Sparks, NV; One Nineteen in Leawood, KS; Summitwoods Crossing in Lees Summit, MO; and Barrywoods Crossing in Kansas City, MO. The dozens of public-private partnerships he has helped create along the way enhance his development communities.
Vision, innovation, and the courage to define new opportunities while moving traditions of success forward are hallmarks of solid leadership. Dan began his career in the commercial brokerage business in 1987 with Cohen-Esrey. In 1995 he helped found and became co-owner of RED Development, which became a highly successful, full-service real estate company. Now the RED tradition of innovation and success has evolved to the next level, and the next chapter in a great development career has begun with the creation of RED Legacy. Dan also co-owns RED Brokerage, LLC, a regionally focused, Kansas City-based real estate services firm.
