Utilizing his Civil Engineering degree and MBA in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin, along with his Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas, Steve brings solutions to very complex development challenges. His professional experience as a business owner in the construction industry and his leadership in complicated development projects over the past 10 years on the RED team have all prepared him to provide leadership in all aspects of projects throughout the development process. Most specifically, Steve’s success comes from building relationships with anchor tenants and community leaders, and his in-depth understanding of public financing and how to create successful public financing structures and public / private partnerships. Steve is well known nationally in the Destination Attraction industry and speaks regularly at conferences and seminars about tourism-driven retail development.
